I'm no expert on tea, but I like drinking it! I'm planning to post anything tea related here - mostly tasting - but I might also write about the tea equipment I use at some point. Mostly I'll probably just write stuff once, but I might add more if I have a tea multiple times.
Puttabong: Darjeeling first flush
Bought on 12. July 25 at my favorite tea store. The description says it's sinensis, the smell is vegetal (almost like zucchini) and sweet, the leaves are a deep green to match. Brewed boiling for about 30 sec.
It tastes similar to how it smells, subtly vegetal and sweet. Not my favorite, I definitely prefer the spiced flavors in other ff darjeelings.
This is the first tea because I bought it the same day that I'm starting this.
